Who are the NO FALLS Foundation (and what do they do)?

1 June 2026

Here at National Training Services, we are fully committed to making workplaces as safe as they should be. Our revered train the trainer courses give professionals the knowledge, experience and support they need to deliver their own syllabuses across commercial and industrial settings up and down the country.

Our commitment to safety goes further; we are a silver supporter of the No Falls Foundation, here’s why…

Introducing the No Falls Foundation

The No Falls Foundation is a UK based charity that does incredible work within the realm of workplace safety. They’re the very first charitable organisation to support individuals who work at height, with their mission to prevent falls and help those who have unfortunately be part of such incidents invaluable across so many communities.

The most common cause of workplace fatalities

Falls from height are one of the most widespread workplace risk, with the prospect of life changing injury or fatality very real and absolutely devastating for everyone involved. According to the latest research, falls from height were responsible for around 28% of all workplace fatalities. Even falls from heights as low as six feet can have upsetting consequences.

From the use of ladders at lower or ground levels to falls from scaffolds, roofs and taller structures, working at height requires precision, awareness and training.

Supporting people working at height

Working at height happens every single day across a wide range of industry sectors. You’ll see people working at height in shops, offices, factories, hospitals and building sites, and the practice is far from risk free.

The No Falls Foundation collaborates widely with stakeholders, trade associations, professional bodies and trainers like us to help every worker understand the risks and take exactly the right precautions. Their aim is to keep people serving all sectors safe by preventing falls from height and facilitating research to strengthen knowledge in this area further.

Those already impacted by a fall from height can also find the support they need via the No Falls Foundation. They work closely with those affected to guide them through their recovery, delivering everything from help with mental health and wellbeing issues to support with financial and legal matters.

The No Falls Foundation Resource Hub provides essential information and guidance as well as specialist advice, not to mention access to grants that can assist with any required physical and mental rehabilitation.
